Mechatronics SFU Graduate Flying High as a Woman in STEM

in my family it's always being hey it doesn't matter what your gender is it doesn't matter what you look like you can do whatever you play Martin so going up as a kid my dad had an airplane I knew from the start I wanted to be a pilot right I joined Team Guardian as the fuse unmanned air vehicle team I went to every work meeting I learned as much as I could from the experience members and I made it my goal that I would be team captain one day as well she has the sort of leadership in her plot so I think she can be a very good role model for female students that we have in mechatronics and other engineering schools I'm planning to go into the work field and continue on the engineering path I've got a lot of goals and a lot of dreams and I'm hoping that wherever I go whatever I do I'll put the 110% effort into it and make it impact

Jessica! 🙂 yes! So great to see your story! We've known each other since grade 2, when you were always right ahead of me on the attendance sheet because of our lastname. Congratulations on your graduation and ALL the HARD work that you've contributed to it!!
