HOW MUCH YOU WILL EARN AFTER YOUR MASTERS FROM BERLIN, GERMANY? Cal. the cost of living in REALTIME

what's up beatnik girls welcome back to my channel once again if you new here consider subscribing because I feel that my goal is to bring you the most delicious thinking and enhance your intellect to escape velocity let's start this day so let me tell you today's video is going to be more of an information-based as usual alright this is mainly for two kinds of people number one is somebody who's looking out for information like what is the cost of living of Germany right it's a very vague question for me because every city has its own flavor and cost of living just like in India Mumbai is more expensive than for example Jaipur or Delhi or Calcutta or Bangalore same like here in Germany let me tell you at the beginning of this video itself Munich is the expensive city of Germany my question is is there any way of comparing two different cities of Germany in one platform yes it is I'm gonna be demonstrating you guys I'm gonna be comparing Munich and Berlin since I stay here so I just want to know what is the cost of room what is the cost of milk what is the cost of food what is the cost of one time meal etc etc so I'm going to be demonstrating that other part what I want to cover in today's video is what is the average salary of a person who's freshly graduated or somebody who has experience how much he can expect in particular field or somebody who has very less experience like in an average experience how much would he get paid monthly and annually also we going to look into that so stick till the last it is a very important video this is very complex topic I will try to narrow it down as much as I can so second part is mainly going to be focused about Berlin market how much people get paid here in Berlin not in Germany alright as I told you every city has a high standard of living I mean you the more south you go you it just gets expensive like go to Frankfurt go to Munich all these cities are so much expensive when it comes to comparison with Berlin so yeah let's start this video now first thing what I want you to do is just to compare the cost of living in two different cities all across the globe I'm talking okay you can go to this website called www muqaam this is where you can do a price comparison of two different cities a standard of living what is a cost of living how is the safety index what is the safety aspects what is the price of a milk what is a property price etc etcetera you can find every small detail so let's do it alright guys so this is the landing page of this website first fall on the right on the top you can see the menu bar cost of living property price crime rate health care pollution traffic quality of life now my concern is since I started talking about cost of living we gonna do cost of living comparison which is the second in the menu now this database is actually available in most of the major cities so if I I mean know if I'm sitting in Delhi I can put that Delhi if I'm sitting in Los Angeles I can put that if I'm in New York City I can go ahead and put that current city in my case I'm sitting in Berlin right now I'll put that and then we are comparing the most expensive city of Germany so in this case it's Munich go ahead there's a compare button right here press that now the moment you are on this page you will find every small little detail of cost-of-living starting from food till the restaurant from transportation to the utilities sports etc etc so I quickly want to run over the information so in restaurant for a meal in an inexpensive restaurant would charge you 8 euros and in munich and cost you 12 euros now to be honest i have paid some restaurants here in berlin 12 euros but then this is inexpensive restaurant is talking about now for milk its 0.77 and 0.88 in erika I remember the other day I pay the milk or what we saw was 0.78 this is 7 7 billion so a cost of 1 kg of Apple is 2.12 like two point one two and then in Munich it's two point two two euros I'm more concerned about the accommodation where is the there this in mind this is only for people who have a full-time job and if they want an accomodation outside because they can't stay here in any of these student halls right so in that case it's right here so apartment one-bedroom in city centre of course is going to be a bit expensive which is seven fifty three point four eight euros a month now in Munich it's a one thousand seventy three point three one euros oh my god which is you can also see it's forty two point four five percent straight plus if you stay outside of city centre you pay five hundred and thirty seven point two nine euros which is a fair price if I compare I mean since I'm staying here so it's a good price though but if you stay outside in Munich it cost you around two eighty five point zero six euros so yeah this is what I wanted to show you guys go ahead and if you can also go ahead and compare the quality of life now again let's do it berlin quickly and then munich right and then compare the quality of life now quality of life are compared on the basis of different index purchasing power safety index health care etc etc you guys can definitely jump into it dig a little deeper which emissary you want to go ahead so yeah moving from here on second part of the video we'll be talking about salaries and wages what you get paid here in berlin keep this back of your mind we want to talk about berlin not hold of germany all right first thing what we can talk about is negotiation second part we're going to talk about how much i experience people should get paid in berlin and third part we're going to talk about how much junior profiles should get paid in berlin men when i say junior profile means fresh students somebody who doesn't have an experience first part i want to talk about negotiation now this is generally for people back at home imagine you're sitting in mumbai you've already worked for five and a half years now you're looking out for job here in germany specific to now since it is the startup capital of Europe after London and Dublin they are becoming big too but here's the thing this is how I look at it I am there is a slight minus point but we can rectify that so I look the whole situation in this way following it's all game of supply and demand Berlin is comparatively small city when when you look around the world now the small city has small number of startup capital even though it has become the startup capital of Europe when you compare with San Francisco of course it's less right thing with Berlin is lot of expats have actually travelled to Berlin ok when these expenses they have come here they have come here with their skills with their education with their all the other things what you require for your fulfill a particular job right now when these small number of startup people when they look at all these people around they have pool of people with lot of talent out there this is where this sort of exploit the salary market all right there is so much competition that they are ready to negotiate if I'm hungry for a job I will settle down on any salary would companies obtain me just to tackle the whole situation what I've done is this is what I use there is a website ok which I'm going to just sort of show you you can go check in the description again you can find this put all your information ok what kind of information are you seeking from this website it will walk you through every small little detail and depending on your education experience skills all these three or four basic fundamental things and any create a customized report especially for you you can go and check out so that you understand sitting in Mumbai or India how much of a word or a value you have so you have a share to talk about when you are applying for jobs here in Germany in Berlin so when they ask you what is the salary expectation you can go ahead and pump it straight like this is the salary what I want they should understand that ok you are a smart chap you've done a bit of market so when it comes to marketing how much a normal share of price is paid out now here's the thing back in India when you start negotiating your salary when you start about all these things people do feel offended about that let me tell you but here in Germany you can talk about very openly straightforward all right so this is what I want people prefer very open talk actually you know what I want to sort of do a critical analysis that we are normally do it have a look at this you might be a start negotiating in your own country but in today's global economy your skills may not automatically translate to other cultures for instance in some cultures it's entirely appropriate to show emotions during negotiation to raise voice laughs passionately or even put a friendly arm around your counterpart in others this much expression not only feels intrusive or surprising but may be viewed as immature or unprofessional then there's an open disagreement negotiators often assume that more expressive cultures are also more confrontational but that isn't always the case in some countries such as France and Israel emotions pour out including disagreements but for other very expressive cultures such as Brazil Mexico and India open disagreement could be seen as 'red insulting some less expressive cultures such as Denmark Germany and the Netherlands see open disagreements and debate as a positive and necessary as long as it's expressed calmly and factually other tends to be very less emotional and non confrontation which means you will have to be especially attuned to settle cues for both positive and negative responses now what I want you to do is I want you to go on this website called pay scale I'm gonna zoom in for you guys so go to pay scale and here's to option how should I pay so this is for employers and the second part is what am i worth off so you go inside here get your PA report so what kind of service are you looking out for are you looking out what is the status for your current salary job in the market or you looking out for the job offer what you have received and you want to evaluate that so once you go into evaluation so you have to put in all the fields and go and asking next next next and at the end it will give you a customized report for your requirements let's go to the second part what I spoke about is how much how much experience people should get paid in burden all right so again an engineering person can't be paid as equal as doctors right so I've written everything by industry it took me a while to be honest this is an average salary what you can receive annually here in Berlin again it's very hard for for me to actually look into your profile particularly and say oh ok how much are you worth off alright it took me a while to make this whole complete chart so I would request you to pay your quick attention on this so industry is Berlin average salary what you get paid and national average I mean this is for whole of Germany what is the average in that particular area so if you have done engineering and tech jobs just bear this in mind we are talking about a person who has an experience in this particular field all right engineering and technical jobs is forty nine thousand seven hundred thirty seven in national averages fifty seven thousand six hundred and ten that's a lot of money or when you go to other cities for an example Munich Hamburg or Frankfurt right second you guys IT now I totally understand India is a big on IT or engineers let me tell you you have a create great market here okay IT a person on average in Berlin gets paid fifty one thousand two hundred and thirty three and national averages fifty seven thousand eight hundred sixty two as an annual a marketing guy gets paid 40 2937 and the national average is 49,000 zero eight zero sales person is 46,000 37 to little more than the marketing guy on an average nationally in Germany the salary is 57 50 four thousand nine hundred and seventy three for finance and controlling there's a lot of money in finance though forty eight thousand nine hundred and seventy five on national average of Germany is fifty five thousand eight hundred ninety two purchasing and logistics forty three thousand six hundred and two on a national average of German pay scale it's fifty thousand seven hundred and eighty eight now went onward care and therapy which at twenty nine thousand eight hundred ninety five and a national average of thirty three thousand four hundred forty six medical profession which is doctors let me tell you they are the highest fifty seven thousand seven hundred and seventeen is the annual salary of any medical person here in Berlin and as per the German scale of salary there's sixty four thousand one hundred and sixteen now at the bottom what you see is the average salary annually which is forty two thousand eight hundred and sixty-five for Berlin and for German scale of salary it's fifty two thousand is the average salary of a person now the third part is interesting for you because this is mainly for students who are freshly graduate and what they can expect as a salary if you get a job here in Berlin again the same things I've written an industry and in Berlin average for every salary you can get for engineers and technical jobs you can expect forty 1933 for IT it's forty 1933 again for marketing guy who is freshly for an example masters would cost who would get paid thirty one thousand one hundred six for sales guy it's thirty three thousand eight hundred ninety nine for HR person it's 30 4226 finance and controlling is 37320 3 for choosing and logistics is 43,000 413 and on an average salary for annual pay is 37,000 760 here in Berlin so now you have a sort of idea how much you can expect as a salary after you complete your studies specific to Berlin as I already told you guys if somebody who's looking for a job from abroad and want to come and work here make sure that you go ahead and apply to all the companies whatever the list in the description it's not a company but it's a job market where all the company's peripheral posting jobs there all right so make sure that you apply and also don't forget to watch my video where I spoke about how do you get a part-time job and an internship so it's the whole the concept remains the same okay that when you send an application the application will be assessed by a robot but again if it's a small company then directly goes to the consumer person but if the company is a medium-sized company so make sure that you follow the steps where I actually spoke in that video all right guys so this is the end of the video now and if you enjoyed it hit that thumbs up button what is more important for me is go ahead and share this video if somebody who is in really need of information like this alright I'll see you guys next time peace out
