I'll take the 25 cents all right good Oh Tim write you up Timmy honestly I came here expecting a bit more money but to be honest the Fantastic Four it really is a dumpster fire of a movie I think what I'm gonna do is take this quarter and invest in some online classes on how to sell stuff on eBay and then just dump the rest of my fantastic four DVD collection unsuspecting internet buyers hey have you seen big s nope five burning some Fantastic Four DVDs out before somewhere all right I need you to go to the back of the warehouse instead of that new Adam Sandler criterion Colette where are you seriously watching them right now shut up shut up way ahead of you Joel I gotta check out the merchandise look things are good I'm about to eat my six inch sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich from Subway I'm watching Sandler videos life is good bro I don't pay you to sit here and eat delicious handcrafted subs from Subway all day and watch crappy Sandler movie you don't pay me at all exactly now get back to work all right fine but I bet you a handcrafted Subway sandwich of your choice that I'll sell more merchandise this week than you do when you lose you're going to get me an Italian sub from Subway it's gonna be toasted it's gonna have lettuce tomato pickle onions oh it's gonna be great it's gonna have a little bit of red vinaigrette and then I'm gonna eat it right funny face can be delicious joke's on Tim I already got myself a Subway sandwich but hey I can always use another footlong they're too delicious to just not have one they excited I'm here today to sell this box which I guess could be a prop from the movie 7 my mom had it in her attic for a while it's kind of creepy so hopefully I could get some money for I have this box yes you do what's in the block my patience my patience our bike Jim go go go go go anyway alright well let's see what's in the box whoa that's uh that's one way to get ahead you know what I mean oh you don't know what I mean uh how much you want for it thousand a thousand dollars alright I don't know too much about the movie se7en but I did have a friend who worked on the actual movie so I'm gonna give him a call and then we'll have him sort this out I have a friend that's been in a ton of movies and this is right up his alley the only problem is he's just a little long-winded Morgan this is Joe hello Joseph how are you doing this fine and beautiful day no I'm great listen is a sun shining on your shoulders a reminder of the gifted miracle of life that God has breathed into your body yeah yeah listen Morgan I've got this prop here that I kind of need to need you it's a head in a box well everyone has pain my friend but Ernest Hemingway once wrote the world is a fine place and worth fighting for I agree with the second part no no it's a prop from your movie se7en like I was hoping you could tell me more about it my friend hope is a dangerous thing Okin drive a man insane but then hope can be everything as my friend Andy Dufresne once said I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged their feathers are just too bright and when they fly away the part of you that knows was a sin to lock them up does rejoice still the place you live in is that much more drab and empty now that they're gone I guess I just missed my friend that's nice Morgan but I need you to focus it is a prop from the movie se7en oh yes seven that was a long time ago I was starring with a young handsome buck named Bradley Pitt then another actor you can't even talk about anymore they didn't even put his name on the opening credits you know Morgan I need you to focus do you remember the hairdresser for the movie uh-huh yes I remember her Mary I remember that lovely weekend I had with Mary there's a mysterious ritual that dates back thousands of years no living creature has survived it except the penguin and of course Miss Mary and every year since that fateful night in 1995 we embark on a nearly impossible journey to find love for 20 hours we march through a place so extreme it sustains no life but in the harshest place on earth in East Los Angeles love does find a way it finds it at least 10 times a soul until the Beast of two backs crumbles into a mass of limbs and sweat drain from vigorous lovemaking the likes Nazis and Zeus seduced dear oh my god you're talking about my mom so the prop is real then as real is my delicious subway turkey sandwich I have in front of me I a substitute spinach for lettuce but go extra with the pickles now you remember our deal I help you / and watch one of my many award-winning films there's of course Josh ink or Driving Miss Daisy or Million Dollar Baby that's a good one I won the Oscar for that you know okay that's my good friend okay well I gotta go bye Clinton ah anyway um so the best I could do is about $500 how about 750 yeah but I gotta figure out how to display it I get rid of these bloodstains on here and have to listen to my friend over here say what's in the box no way mm-hmm the only thing I'm gonna be able to use about 500 I'll be lucky if I break even okay $500 in this Adam Sandler criterion collection and you got yourself a deal yeah I can do that all right mmm I'm Tim right job if the market is where I think it is on this I'm gonna make some serious bucks plus I was able to get rid of that Adam Sandler collection huge bonus well I didn't exactly get the thousand dollars I wanted but I think I made out with a pretty good deal and talking to Morgan Freeman was pretty enlightening that I bet Morgan Freeman's my dad next time on film stars oh wow I can't believe found them of course the watch is real I spent two years in a Hanoi Hilton without uncomfortable a hunk of metal up my ass this is a profit it's not even from that movie I know but I'm a method actor there you go all right well there it is and I'm pretty sure history was gonna buy it I think so I think think so I think it has the right flavor I've never seen anything on TV that any men close to that yeah and our star power is amazing oh I know you just never know who's gonna come in next or well never know it's like you're what you said your entry you never know who's gonna walk through that door exactly it's insane it's really cool all right hey we want to thank the guys that helped us make that little piece there first up is Tier one games go and bring it to me here tier one games.com go check out there these guys these guys are really really nice guys they've got what they have their Joe they've got they've got green card trading cards board games they had all the paraphernalia media like protecting your comics and stuff like that and cards and they're just all around good guys and they've got everything available on the web well not everything but a lot of stuff is available on the website so if you're not in our area you just go to their website come out yeah thanks thanks to those guys are letting us use their facilities there is really nice and then our friends Anthony Simpson and Chad marks who played our unsuspecting really real people yeah in real situations right those you know they they brought in a for coming in and bring bringing us their items and the judge and if I we have Niccolo Maserati let's pop in that camera on Tim's camera there and say hi you can't hate this kind of to help us out here's a YouTube channel of his own if you're looking to describe Shin of this video you'll see he made a little behind-the-scenes video of the day he spent with us and we shoot when we shot that last week and thank you man for coming out and hanging out with us tonight and hopefully have some fun with that so now as chat noticed we were not actually sponsored by subway that is correct but we are sponsored by audible.com huncle trial comm filmmaker IQ and I hear like you yeah don't put the common there than the address that screwed that up yeah no make her IQ also I I hear that you have something on ya audible.com why don't you tell us about that so yeah definitely um go ahead and put up that little book there dead I actually I'm a true believer I I say I love audiobooks and I went ahead and I recorded an audiobook so I actually read an audiobook called sing me something happy by Bruce a Stewart if you go that link down there I will try out Khan slash filmmaker IQ get yourself a free trial and then you can download my book for free look at that like everything's for free so check that out it's it's a beautiful sweet story about a man who finds love after a tragic accident it's all wonderful I learned a lot and doing that audiobooks now we'll probably doing a whole bunch more if I can't if I get the time very interesting strategy going into that when you're doing all the voice-over stuff and how you it set up your it's really so what I've been doing is I mean because I understand I know the short format pretty well I'm I wanted to learn longer form and what better way than the just to work through audiobooks and if you study the audiobooks and do an audio narration you learn about the form and hopefully you create something that you guys can enjoy and listen to and check it out okay and then of course as always check out our patreon the patreon address I got that address right yeah indeed right of course everything a little bit on that road on helps us out yeah every little bit helps us to continue to get Morgan Freeman to voice stuff for us yeah he doesn't come cheap it doesn't come cheap at all you got about a lot of Subway sandwiches to get that guy down and then well Christopher you know Walt he just walking just he just shows up he just shows up we just give a pickle or something and he tap dances Allah he does a lot of dancin a lot he always plays that weapon of choice on ya remember from way back in the 2000s Wow I know he's amazing to answer though so that's that's our plug corner there alright so upcoming videos we're gonna try to keep these a little bit shorter these these live shows a little bit shorter but well let's talk about we're doing next here so I'm wearing now we're going to expose your video I've been talking about it for like three videos now three live sessions but where we shot it and we're putting all the pieces together I want to show you like a little special effects I did this is a cut number three go and play cut number three there so this is an effect of what happens when you change the aperture without while adjusting the shutter speed at the same time so what you're doing is you're shooting what's called the same Eevee so the exposures say the same but you notice that background stars they can't bloom in and out so this is one of the effect shots that we're working on the kind of demonstrate I might reshoot this cuz a little bit of a but it's a really cool effect do you like it I might have to reshoot it with something else in there because we can see more more of the I wants maybe show more of the stuff that's going in and out of focus yeah but that is something I'm working on we're looking at least hopefully get it out by an end of next week or so so I'm really excited about that go ahead and bring it back to me there now we've got a second installment of film Jobs coming up yeah go ahead and put it on there just just cut back to me there and we got a sec installment of film Jobs coming up and film Jobs I think what people don't understand about the show is it's an interview show where I talk to people that are in various different roles in film production but I really don't want it everyone does the director in this actor and and the you know I want to go for a different kind of crafts and see what different people and different aspects of the film film working work together so here's an example the next one we're gonna premiere probably in a couple weeks is from a group called loop group and what they do is they record ADR for background actors I brought a little clip women so go ahead play clip number four there I've seen or done we're doing that whatever it is what are you doing for a fight sighs just like grunts they don't let you want to easily match the soul Watts playback of the actor yeah doing the fight scene and we'll just kind of trail them slightly so if they're doing we'll just copy them and do that and just add just add vocals to it we'll copy their movements and just whatever comes out okay so that's a left coming up from our from the next film jobs and we can't wait to see it yeah we're gonna shoot our next series we got already got like an executive lined up the loot yeah good friend we'll see hopefully he will be free and also if you guys know anybody that's in the LA area that maybe I'm looking for like gaffers I'm looking for like VI T's I'm looking for you know I want I want to get this this trailer guy that does the trailers I want to do I want to hear what I want to hear their stories yeah that's people I want to talk to you but if you guys nobody you want to if you want to put us in contact or we'd love to hear from you guys and we still do dailies we're not going to be the quiz state because they got a little bit but tomorrow is the premiere of Godfather's so that was oh that's a big one yeah and I'll be trying to get some more IQ bits um I've got one in mind that I want to release after expose your video a lot of stuff I mean there's a lot of stuff here we're always thinking of new things and then we do an informal live show called the pub cast we're introducing this is this like a Q&A but it's just a longer form and what more like just hanging out with you guys yeah so put that graphic of their live for the iQue pub cast live on and it's me and Jon and we talked to you guys and also kind of go over things that we've seen during the week or the month depending on how far that we think would be interesting to talk to you guys about and get your take on it as well as you guys getting our take on it I think so yeah there's a lot of stuff go and take that overlay off there there's a lot of stuff coming but you know how you can help us support us you know there's audible comment that don't you know then put the address up but here's course the patreon go ahead and get that patreon button and a little bit there helps audible patreon whatever you can do to help us out we'll bring you a lot more cool stuff okay you know we got right to it it's time for back to it go ahead add play cut number five gotta love the graphics that you don't have time to do and they just just it's stuck and estate works it's it's all good it's all good right so open it up for you guys in the Q&A section and there are about fifty seconds delay so the long delay tonight so hey how's it going over there that's going pretty good we have some comments that are coming through but I figure unique camera angles or techniques that you used for this reality show okay click on this one we more went kind of like reality we actually got that back and we wanted to do more of a reality you know camera on the shoulder kind of reaction I'm yeah well just say like if you watch shows like The Office and you watch shows like what's the call it's parks and recreation you know it's that kind of reality show that's that's really and yes Pawn Stars but ours is not as it's not as close that's one but the what I find was the really interesting thing when I learned about this particular shoot was the how incredibly crazy the audio is on Pawn Stars even why go ahead and when after the show was done go and then he visited patreon and put our money in but after you do that Google Pawn Stars and like anything and then listen specifically for the music and you'll realize how quickly the music changes constantly yeah so it wasn't until I did the music of this video that it felt like oh this is now we're finally in the freight yeah like when I came and visited you you had like on the side that Adobe thing with all the tracks all these different tracks that to set up each you know each segment it's like a little area literally five seconds and it's on the next audio cue it's like but yes I mean the thing with the Pawn Stars is kind of funny because all those tracks are basically rock and blues tracks and there's a million of those out and this is like okay well I'll just grab all of these and then start and it came pretty close yeah and I think well I mean the egg noticed how heavy the new rig is for the camera Yannick operating for operating it and yeah it's one of those things like when you see it you're like oh that's not gonna be too bad and then I mean the thing is well I got it that battery on it also yeah I've got parts of a rig for a shoulder mount on that thing but I just haven't figured out how to it's like it's like LEGO pieces but I'm missing a Lego piece or something oh yeah so I got there but yeah it worked you know part of the when you shoot like that kind of stuff it's it's about a little bit of a little bit of lateral movement yeah a little bit of that and then a lot of the quick zoom cut zoom ins when somebody's say something you know when Michael Scott says something embarrassing it's like with a bad laugh or the you know the bad joke or funny joke or just trying to get the item in there and simply that so getting a lot of those cross cuts and you know I do have to give it to Pawn Stars because they're it's not like they're redoing all the shots they can't do what we did which was like alright let's do one full one on this well I don't know they bet you they do maybe I bet you they – oh I'm not real I'm well it's not real but yeah they're like they're like redoing all that stuff right yeah I think I don't know I enjoyed it overall and I think the shots I'm really gonna be anything we pushed new or something I don't know do you was there something you felt like you haven't really done before that was old matching the graphic style like okay yeah the graphic style just fallin like all the styles I know we're earlier joking about we're obviously we know it's obviously yeah it was just trying to copy that kind of look and feel of the show and also you did a cool thing I thought what the filter giving it that little boost of you know Sun sunny yellow to give like California I thought that was great and people might miss that and they shouldn't because it's one of those things were just just that little twist I was debating whether it was with yellow or blue skies yeah don't look for the intro of the one with yellow because it looks a little bit like that almost looks more like us yeah so anyhow alright I think our blabbering gone on we've had some questions half what else you got Tim okay so I got another question which is do you mostly talk about tech issues or issues or final product things regarding movies where's Louie for what like the pub caster yeah well okay I'll answer that it's like so mostly I'm not a I'm not really tech I mean I'm obviously a tech nerd but I don't like I don't like drooling over cameras because frankly my wallet can't take the pain and I gotta pay for other things yeah I really enjoy more like like buying food for actors and and or you know just creating these projects so to me it's more about the art side so yeah this is more this channels doing more about history technique science but not so much about like product review yeah it kind of cubbyholes us and a little things so but other than that like yeah we talk about art science like the next exposure video is all about science in fact I don't think is a single video out there that's close to what we're doing there are a couple websites out there but like Wikipedia but but that mean I'm gonna get into the math of actually what the camera is doing with its metering your stuff like that but then we're going to do like a history of Paramount which is I didn't put that in on a list of things that work yeah that's so much stuff we gotta do we want to accomplish it's just when you you're overflowing with ideas and things you have to kind of we have to shoot pick and choose which ones are gonna show up and onto the channel I mean I'll be honest like we we had to Louise had delayed this show because we wanted to get that that that that little film stars things done it so that's what we came up with the pub cast for yeah it's kind of something that's gonna be sticking around and I think everybody will enjoy that you guys get to interact with us a bit more then say you would on the live show even though we do the QA at the end it will have to come to an end versus our pub cast where we can spend all our time talking with you and interacting with you as well as kind of hitting our own points and kind of seeing your take on it and what our take will be on it so I think that's where throwback to to me yeah it's over all right let's sort of Jim next one is let's see since you all wear a lot of hats during these projects which part of the process is your favorite shooting editing acting like oh I thought I thought you mean literal hats or the okay I got my hat over there his hats over there I just I always have my hat on but I think we all have a we all have our hats just as like it's we talk all because we had a half – well I mean I would would you have a perfect like a fair part that you like I kind of like sitting back and seeing the whole thing like you like I'm like on beat not even being done but like more so I like seeing like standing back like oh that's a really good shot and seeing like the pieces and then you know imagining when they fit do we did we get everything we wanted and you know you always have that point we're like ah man I'm like I got that one last shot but I I enjoy kind of seeing the pattern so I got two favorite parts and okay first prayer part is the beginning we're like we sit down we try to imagine what the hell the writing is all right entertain yeah because then anything is possible and you're saying oh all these great ideas and you're laughing your butt off and like all these things are really cool and then for me the experience dips down I do like this set I do like directing and I like that stuff but like that's that fun stuff and then the first part of the edit is like the pain part yeah it's like oh man I got to put all these things together if you get through that rough cut yeah for you guys that don't know he is the maestro of the editing because how it goes is we kind of all go at this point and then when it gets to the editing we kind of ditch John and then like John and then John continues on through the pain and and then we come back and were like hey did you get it done he's like yeah I got it done it looks really good like yeah it looks really good he went through you know probably seven eight hours and there's there's small part of us that we should feel really terrible about that I'll make you pay for it but we don't and then I then it's on to the next idea where we sit down and write and then John forgets that we made him edit by himself and the process repeats over and over again luckily John so I guess I will but I will finish what I was saying here yeah thank you for saying that I'm gonna appreciate that but but dip down for the initial rough cut sucks I hate doing the rough cuts it's anything I do I hate rough cuts but after the rough cut is done and you started polishing AHA now gets better and better and better and then at the very end we're like you're sitting back like that can be a little quicker that could be a little louder than a bit of a buck and yeah that's the best part yeah the little title beginning and that's the best part in the middle yeah I do love shooting though that was fun because every get the best part about shooting I guess also is the fact of being around the actor that's the thing okay we need to plug plug Anthony yeah and Chad I'm Anthony we've known for a while now he's such a great guy he's a marine he's known the hospital but he wasn't good to go back for a little bit but we love you he brings so much energy and fun to every set that's kind of like what we enjoy about these actors yeah is like when they show up and they just like these give it to ya yeah and Chad you see and Chad yeah we just met Chad this one and he did we loved nominally and you'll probably see him at other stuff yeah we're gonna he's a cool cool cat yeah we got it we've got another longer short that we've been at war longer stream maybe a feature but we've been planning for years and years and years and we finally figured out he's that guy he's that one character also Brandon no Star Wars so I just saw it I saw it and I was like no we got to pull that out just to show you we're live and no star I was gonna make a graphic when these days that says no star oh I'm sure we'll get to it I don't mind talking about Star Wars once in a while let's not talk about Star Wars today I'm sure the next podcast will probably can throw solo comes out we'll talk about star well be solo top right Tim what do you ever okay so I saw another one that was pretty good which was when it comes to documentaries what are some good techniques or formats you could recommend so documentary is a beauty of a rod it's also a big subject yeah so you have me you're straight documentaries you know you have commercial documentary which I do a lot of to kind of pay the bills you've got documentaries the the ones you see like nowadays that are in the film festivals but all those History Channel shows are documentaries reality show is this reality shows are essentially a documentary so it I mean you have to look at the genre and look at what you like and then pick what you the direction you want to head for and study movies in that area yeah I think that's kind of how you I can't just give you like a blanket statement yeah exactly it's it's it's it's a thing unto itself yeah there's just so many varieties out there yeah I've said we've worked with several times maybe we'll get him in for an interview he's done some documentaries on the Salton Sea and other things in California so he would bet definitely be a guy to ask about that so we'll see if we can't line that up in the future hmm let's see next one oh it's a speaking of Paramount okay cool how do you feel about Studios selling their films they make directly to Netflix now instead of giving them a theatrical release I I like this because I feel here's my problem i procrastinate getting out of the house a lot of the time no it's true like Joe's a movie let's go to the movie and then I was like all right at 10:50 at night literally a lot of the movies we watch are close to 10:00 at night to like 1:00 in the morning cuz I just have this apprehension about going to movies I don't know if it's just been something that movie Penguin recent yeah and I've got I'm on the I'm on the waiting list thing for it I like the idea of being just like hey even and I kind of do it on Amazon now to where it's just like if something pops up there I'm like oh I really wanted to see that I didn't get to see it in theatres and I'll pay like the 399 so I kind of like the idea of Netflix kind of buying things from me right now it's kind of its kind of like like somewhat nicer than direct-to-video yeah it's a little bit one tier above all though are we really is it going to become one of those things where it's like y'all use direct to Netflix it's like that's something interactive video I mean yeah I think you're gonna be like Cloverfield movie the Cloverfield yeah and I don't know the budget on it I can't say but it's never gonna be you're never gonna see a solo go to Directive yeah no you never see a blockbuster summer movie go direct to Netflix I mean it's always gonna be that there's that level that's always gonna go to theater and there's always gonna be that level that will now start to I think go to Netflix and Amazon really I think it will probably be the ones that probably start buying that kind of stuff but is there's a good thing to it but at the same time I think movies always have their place you're always gonna watch come on it's like a camaraderie thing too because you know me and John will go and Tim and we'll go and we'll make slight fun of it in the theater or joke you know like we you know but watch a movie at home Alliance tractions yeah theater you got no distractions and you could focus on the movie so it's different you got places like Alamo yeah and where they they serve you the food the drinks you don't have to go anywhere don't have to make anything you just watch the movie and enjoy it and what and eat and I think that's probably a nice feature I think I'd like to see in other places too we have the one but it only has the armchairs and stuff yeah well maybe feature for Tim you guys for us it depends on the quality of movies if they dump their junk on Netflix starts turning into a sci-fi movie week I think will be it won't do but okay all right well the next one I've got is somebody asked is have you ever shot anamorphic and if so what was your process alright the answer to that question is no yep well then what do you think oh there you go I'd like to put the problems you know like there's a lot cheap anamorphic lenses out there and it's like well you get cheap lens you get cheap is cheap look so I mean I haven't had any I mean I'm messed with anamorphic yet so I like to be fun but I think I would have to go to like Panavision and like okay when you make a deal there so that's sorry not very much that the question were you laughter Joe oh I saw Brandon he is saying I don't even watch Star Wars anymore I just got it in there because these guys usually get trolled by Star Wars fans I just found that funny I was like yeah that's that's true yeah guilty as charged I think I think people spend more times watching stuff about Star Wars and watching Star Wars yeah they're probably a lot more material out there I wonder how many hours like ratio hours of comments yeah theories versus the actual and be like you know TV show movies and yeah good question that's a good question so here's another one so so it says John has editing becomes second nature to you or are you still very aware of the types of cuts and techniques when you're using them and this made me think back of when we interviewed Jordan AC II for the film Jobs when he talked about letting the film speak to him and you know reading the script and like like like tell us a little bit more about that editing process yeah so the editing um for me it's kind of second nature I don't think about like you know if I'm making a Jay cutter and I'll cut I don't know what the difference between a cut and he'll cut is I can't remember I mean I can think about if I draw it on a timeline I can figure it out yeah but I don't know what I use J and L cuts all the time but what that means is for those who don't know it's when you bring the audio from the next take in a little earlier yeah like a steer you still looking at one thing and I remember with that we had that problem with that one cut where we made the cut was on was right on the mark and it would you wouldn't the cut you would really notice the cut yeah audio cut so what we did it was we slid it underneath it so it would yeah so I kind of it progressed like through you saw the little bit of film and the voiceover from that one and then yeah and it way and it worked out well because we were like that that felt really sudden that's an elk cut yes yeah that's when the audio company oh come in yeah Jay cuts the other way yeah so yeah I mean I'm not I don't think about that so and then of course with my Joe seeing me like when I'm working on premiere I got my left hand on the keyboard and I'm really fast with like going how to manipulate things you have to get to that point it's kind of like typing so if you if you're thinking about where's el button you know that's you can't die you can't write your story but you need to be able to to like just make it happen on the timeline yeah so that's well that's what I think I don't know sure I think that kind of covers the question I think so but I mean it just becomes second nature it's just one of those things where you know as I said we kind of abandoned John but when we're all sitting there and watching and stuff like that then then it becomes a little bit but we kind of jump in at the end and we saw that and that's why we came up anyway back to Tim with more questions or like how my nose is itching let's do all – two more questions yeah no more questions two more questions how about this how do you feel about Amazon making the Lord of the Rings series they want to compete with Game of Thrones but maybe they could have found a new series instead oh I think we're gonna see that a lot right now because fantasy a is high there's a summer iliyan I feel like they're probably gonna go back to that book because it hasn't really been touched it's a lot of short stories before even you know before the Lord of the Rings series even quote begins the movies the trilogy begins so whatever happened to that witch er yeah there's supposed to be a Witcher show – there's a you're gonna see a lot of things that had a following kind of be turned into two shows by Netflix and Amazon as they battle this out I mean we saw if you're an anime fan there was Death Note they made a movie out of that a lot of people didn't like it there's a what was the other one I can't even think of the name of it but you're gonna see a lot of this I think and basically the thing also if you look at history this is nothing new oh yeah this is nothing like you know you know the movie Ben Hur that wasn't original either that was a story and then I was a story by William a Civil War with a colonel and then that turned into a play in several different plays I came a silent film then became these silent film that MGM made ninth point – and became willing Wyler his film in 1950 something and it became a cartoon and they became another you know movie with Morgan Freeman our friend yep so it you know this taken properties and turning them into anything into things there's nothing new it's just how it goes but I think the fantasies hunt so the fantasy is hot and also as right at this moment there's so much momentum for them yeah that you're gonna see this resurgence I think so I mean are we happy about I think I'll enjoy it I think it'll be fun I'm not a big fancy guy but I do love me some Game of Thrones yeah so but it'll be interesting this it's gonna be the level they set with it yes yeah if it's like The Hobbit from Leonard Nimoy yeah yeah maybe not maybe not but Game of Thrones kind of set a bar and a president of like we're not gonna be like that kiddie fantasy we're going something else it's our dark occult and adult and I think that's kind of where this Lord of the Rings one will have to meet or it's just gonna kind of it's gonna be the more of a kids thing and I think it will falter out because Amazon really has more of an adult crowd I think than child or children and a young adult I guess crowd so okay anyway that's like the long short of it anyway last question you make a good one all right this person says they say American movies seem too formulaic underdog becomes hero intergeneration issues and so on and so on are there any new films or new series that are coming out we talked a little about lore the rings and things are on the horizon are there any ones that have caught your eye that might be kind of breaking the mold hmm I unfortunately have not been keeping up but as far as like the formulaic question it's true I mean there's gonna be formulas yeah you know like I don't know I see a lot of the hero's journey that's what I was gonna say like just oh yeah yeah hero's journey is like everybody does it you know like all right so I'll tell you real quick here but I I watch Moana for the first time like three nights ago oh yeah I haven't seen it I haven't seen it yeah no like I know that's a movie about it about you know the Hawaiian chick I don't want to see that when I watched it and like holy crap this is amazing yeah and it's like note-for-note hero's journey yep no four-note it's like it's Star Wars it's it is literally formula yeah but it's so good so you forgive it yeah exactly and the music and the animation is stunning yep that's what I think it's what I loved about it was like this looks really really good yeah so yeah yeah you're right didn't mean there's formulas but you're gonna say that the kind the one for John wick the TV show even like cuz it's only slightly it's just more like stories it's more like a story each each episode I've guess is gonna be a story of a different assassin assassin and it has like a kind of like duck tailing like overall arch but I mean even at that I mean that's that's been done a lot – yeah I mean it's really hard to say something is unique and older you get the more you realize everything's just a copy of something else yeah it's just a matter of people putting their own spin on it and making their own thing make it their own kind of thing so alright hey we're going to do a pub cast soon well let you guys know check us out on Facebook and Twitter there's the graphic for it we're gonna do a pop guys we're gonna just do this yeah like we will sit here cuz like I see My friend was an assistant editor on Pawn Stars. She said it was intense. She got me a job on "So You Think You Can Dance" as well. Reality shows, yay!
