Cognitive Science: The Future of Cognitive Computing

the problems that we're facing now are too complicated for a single human to figure out all by themselves and so the entity that's going to solve the problem is going to be a combination of humans and machines working together to make a kind of integrated intelligence and one way of framing the core research question is how can people and computers be connected so that collectively they act more intelligently than any person group or computer has ever done before at the highest level you would you can imagine a truly intelligent computer that would understand see situations would be able to to figure out explanations in a events in and be more inventive with respect to scenarios overcome the limits of imagination and creativity so there is really no limit to what computers ultimately could do we have big problems to deal with as a country cost over runs rampant inefficiency and now we have tools that can really help us deal with that we're I think ten years ago we did we had relatively primitive to us so I'm excited for the next decade I think there will be much better doctors we'll hopefully get much better health care as patients and some of these tools are going to help us get there I think when people imagine machines and people working together sometimes it's a little frightening idea of having a computer help you think but I imagine it's being kind of like a violin that if you look at a violinist and a violin together it's really the violin that's making the noise but the violin and the violinist are able to do something much more than either of them could do separately and I think the future is going to be humans and machines working together like that like the violinist of the bio level

IBM have an amazing product but they have no idea how to sell it to the public XD. lol if they continue that way then Apple, Samsung or Microsoft will take the control of that market of Cognitive Computing toward 2020.

I've gone over dozens of your Watson oriented videos. I've listened to 'team leaders' attempt to explain how Watson works. I've found a SERIOUS oversight in this technology. If all you ever feed this machine is DNA based data, and corporate propaganda (Drugs, Drugs, Drugs)…. Watson will never solve anything. It was 14 hours into viewing your YouTube videos when I stumbled onto the CRACK in the system. 1 billion dollars invested into this 'device' that gave an output of chemotherapy??? Are you kidding me? Let this technology be free to find its own way. This system is nonsense if all it does is process corporate propaganda. Corporate propaganda is junk science disguised as fact based. There are many substances that can aid in cancer treatment, but if Watson is never given access to that REAL SCIENCE.. what good are Watson's answers???
