    A couple points:

    1. Since batteries are apparently no longer included, perhaps that fact should be mentioned in the YouTube description.

    2. Though it's too late to update this video, I wish you had included a demonstration of the kickstand. I kept expecting it to fold out from the bottom of the station, not the middle. Having finally figured that out, I still can't get it to support the weight of the station; instead it immediately partly folds in again and the station falls on top of it. Is there a way to lock it open that I'm missing?

My C85845 just stopped working one day. Nothing on the display, completely dead and blank. even with new batteries and AC adapter as power source. Also changed out sensor batteries and it shows red light as functional but the station is still totally blank so not an issue of the two not detecting each other.

Have 3 of these already working great. Just set up 4th in separate area of our home. Display BLINKS on/off intermittently. To be clear, it turns on and off without being touched but seemingly with no pattern…just randomly. I tried swapping batteries, different outlet, etc. Any suggestions?

1st impressions, i was thinking of buying this device, but 3 mins into this video i'm having 2nd thoughts. if you have to make an OVERLY complicated tutorial on a product, that tells me there must be something OVERLY complicated with the product. i'm not buying a space shuttle after all. this video is not a good selling point, at least not so far, maybe it will get better, but i doubt that very much. Doesn't anything think this stuff thru before you release it ??? Well it did get better after the 1st 3 mins, maybe just remove that time and start 3 mins in.

I just bought this “weather station” a week ago and finally today I installed it… but guess what? Both the “set” & “temp” buttons don’t work… I press and hold them and nothing happens… all the other buttons work as expected and I’ve set up the alarm without a problems as well as alerts… without those two buttons, I’ve a clock that doesn’t tell the time nor the date… so it sits as a paperweight!

NOT USER FRIENDLY whatsoever.. Won't connect to internet!!.. Instructions concentrate more on silly battery installation rather important settings (really???) Total PIECE OF SHIT.. Check out all the questions below everyone is confused. Get a serious video out that emphasises on connections since this contraption depends solely on downloadable sources

Hi – I purchased the C85845 on around Dec. 10th 2017 as a gift for my husband. One week later we began getting dash lines on the left side instead of showing the outside temp. We have tried doing the restart a number of times. It works for a while, and then the dash lines return. It works for a few hours and then it shows the dash lines again. We also have tried to press the restart in the sensor but it doesn't seem to help. The unit will work for a while then does the above again.

Also the weather icons are not showing properly….EX: when it is sunny outside we get rain/snow icons showing (not the sun icon) or it shows the storm icon.

Also the tower icon (atomic) does not stay is it suppose too. The video says it will??

If there is no solution to the problems we are having what can be done?

    Thank you in advance!!!
    Linda

I checked them with a multi meter. The unit is plugged in as well. what is the blinking all about? I just bought this off Amazon this week.

I bought the C85845 on January 10, 2017. Within two weeks I began getting lines on the left side instead of numbers. I have tried doing the basic restart a number of times. It works for a while, and then the lines return. It will work for a couple hours and then blank out for a couple hours. I thought it might be the sensor so I ordered a new TX141TH-BV2. It arrived Monday, April 3rd. I set the display and sensor up like a new set and have used the basic restart three times in the 5 days since I received the new sensor. As I mentioned, the unit worked for most of two weeks before it started misfiring. I have put sensors in the same spot before, with success, so I don't think it's a problem with the location of the sensor. For the record, when I started typing, the outside temp and humidity were displaying perfectly. Now, as I finish, the lines are back. Thanks for your time and help.

Hello there. I just connected my sensor and got everything set up. It seems like the sensor needs some time to calibrate to the outside temperature and create a hi-lo range. How long should this take?

Hello there, I am very happy with your product after replacing our broken sensor with the one you mailed us. It is working great. So far our sensor stays in sync with our device. Question for you: Can one sensor connect to two C85845 devices? If that's the case, we would like to purchase one C85845 device, how can we do this? Thank you

I am not happy with this model. The sensor doesn't flash, no matter how many times I press that small button (batteries are brand new). The few times I had it working it stops syncing a day later. By the way, I'm in Seattle and it rains a lot. I built a cover for this sensor to avoid water but it continues stop syncing. I even placed it in a small sandwich bag to protect it from the rain, but it stops working. Perhaps this sensor needs to be replaced? This item was purchased last November at Costco.

I recently purchased Model C85845 with Transmitter No. TX141TH-Bv2. This unit has had issues from day one. The instructional video is most helpful however performing a basic restart twice – the unit does not provide outdoor information – only dashes. Before the first restart, the outdoor temps were sporadic – however now the outdoor dashes are constant.
I am ready to return this as it must be defective. Very disappointing…

Brought outdoor unit inside, set it next to main unit. After a 2 hr time period, the outdoor unit reads 71 degrees, which is the actual room temp. The main unit will still show between 83-85 degrees.

My display is hard to read at any distances. I can read it find up close but once I start moving away from the display it becomes harder to read. When I'm 8-10 feet away can't even read it. I have it plug in and the display on bright. Is there something I can do to make it brighter or do you think it's defected?
